Stylera Retail Space by Sanjay Puri Architects

In the fast-growing district of Navi Mumbai, Sanjay Puri Architects has unveiled Stylera, a multi-brand retail destination unlike anything seen in the area before. Conceived as a futuristic and immersive environment, the project showcases contemporary Indian fashion within a setting where product displays themselves become sculptural works of art.

A Bold Fusion of Color and Form

The design language of Stylera thrives on form and color. Bespoke display racks with ombré finishes subtly guide visitors—pinks and purples for womenswear, blues and greens for menswear—while curved perforated metal screens provide definition without breaking visual connectivity. Each element feels intentional, encouraging exploration while maintaining an overall spatial harmony.

Immersive and Photogenic Experiences

At the heart of the store, the illuminated glass-box cashier counter becomes a striking focal point. Playful installations like a serpentine sunglass display invite movement and interaction, blurring the boundaries between functional retail furniture and spatial sculpture. Round, internally lit cosmetic displays elevate products into glowing showcases, while the dramatic shoe wall—with its multicolor chrome circular niches—adds a theatrical dimension to the shopping journey.

Innovative Detailing and Brand Storytelling

Column areas are transformed into features, wrapped with mirrored pedestals or floating circular shelves, topped with origami-inspired lighting designed in collaboration with Hatsu. The bag displays gain prominence through stepped pedestals, seamlessly integrating architecture with merchandising. These details collectively narrate a brand story that feels both luxurious and approachable, reflecting Mumbai’s evolving retail identity.

The Influencer Lounge: Retail Meets Media

Recognizing the role of social media in modern retail, the architects carved out an “influencer lounge”—a dedicated space for content creation. Ombré vinyl walls, playful furniture in pink and concrete, and photogenic backdrops encourage bloggers and shoppers alike to document and share their experiences. The understated grey tile flooring and open ceiling with track lighting ensure the bold display interventions remain the undisputed visual stars.

Overall, Sanjay Puri Architects has crafted more than just a retail space—it is an immersive platform where Indian brands are celebrated within a futuristic, art-driven environment that redefines how fashion is experienced in Navi Mumbai.
