As the UK’s premier lighting exhibition, LiGHT 25 returns to London with an expanded programme combining innovation, education, and networking. This year’s edition brings new features, insightful talks, and immersive experiences for professionals across architecture, interior design, and engineering. The New Technical Zone

Making its debut in 2025, the Technical Zone will spotlight cutting-edge technologies in urban and commercial lighting, control systems, and emergency solutions. It provides a platform for brands and designers to exchange expertise and explore the latest sustainable and human-centric innovations. This initiative underlines the growing importance of control and component systems in achieving high-performance lighting environments.

Associations Lounge and Networking Highlights

Supported by Studio Due, the popular Associations Lounge returns as a shared hub for major industry bodies, including the DALI Alliance, The LIA, ILP, SLL, and the IALD. Located on the Gallery Level, it offers an ideal setting to connect, learn, and unwind away from the show floor. Visitors can attend networking events such as the Silhouette Awards celebration, the LiGHT Lunch with Studio Due and David Atkinson, and association talks about current initiatives and membership opportunities.

CPD-Accredited [d]arc thoughts Talks

The show’s educational pillar, the [d]arc thoughts talks series, returns in collaboration with Lutron. Curated by the editors of arc and darc magazines, the two-day programme gathers experts to discuss sustainability, circular design, and wellness. Highlights include Out of Our Lane: What Lighting Designers Must Learn from Medicine by Willie Duggan, and True Luxury is Handmade: Crafted for Connoisseurs of Light by Surbhi Jindal. The sessions encourage designers to think beyond aesthetics and consider light’s impact on human experience.

Light Art Installation and Show Experience

For 2025, Speirs Major Light Architecture collaborates with formalighting on Re:Vision—an interactive installation exploring colour perception across species. Using custom spectral profiles and reimagined Ishihara test patterns, it demonstrates how vision differs in the natural world. Beyond this, LiGHT 25 welcomes thousands of professionals and hundreds of leading lighting brands, offering co-working spaces, lunches, and late-night gatherings that make the show a truly immersive celebration of light and design.
